Unhallowed intro is an insane pit for sure

The t/t of this album might just be the most black metal-influenced melodeath ever

Honestly, the entire album is extremely black metal-influenced, even by TBDM standards. Love the overall vibe and atmosphere of this one

Yep I've been saying that since it came out. The atmosphere is completely bm and there's tons of riffs here that wouldn't sound out of place on a Dawn album.

I love how distinct the first 3 albums are sound wise. Each one has such a unique style, Unhallowed and Miasma especially

Finally decided to 5 this. Absolutely killer from front to back, and the atmosphere is unmatched in their discog (though Everblack does come close imo)

Still so sad I didn't take that autograph back in 08 with the band when I had the chance lol. At the time I had no idea who they were except by name, never heard of their music but their so good.

I got a couple pics with Trevor and Brian back in '14 when they were hosting the grand opening of the Grill 'Em All restaurant in Alhambra. I haven't jammed TBDM in a minute because Trevor's passing bummed me out so bad. Still does, too.

It took me a while to listen to them and not feel sad after Trevor's passing, but I'm back to the point where I can jam them and enjoy it. Relistened to Deflorate the other day, and that album rips more than it gets credit for

For me it's between this and Back to the Times of Splendor by Disillusion. Completely different takes on the genre, but brilliant all the same
