>Still really enjoy this alot now days. It's like the most tool tool album there is. The whole droney side of them that they always used in the past the last 3-4 tracks on lateralus for example they basically made a whole album out of that style here. I can get the complaints on it from folks saying its boring and it sounds like one big overly long jam session but that's one of my favorite things about tool when they just jam forever. Descending and pneuma are both fire. Great album

The fact that some tool fans don't like this album is kinda weird to me tbh. It's a tool album it sounds like tool. If you like lateralus and 10,000 there's really no reason to not dig this the songs ain't subpar it's just them tapping into that more mediative sound they always used a bit more going for a more prog rock feel
