i'm just cranky at the fact that math-rock will forever be the tag used for this emo-ass music. This album is the template for all these clean, inoffensive indie bands that think because they play in 5/4 they somehow are breaking the rules lol.

He's alright (if he sucked I wouldn't give this a 3.5). I just wish he was better than just "alright".

I think fantano adressed this issue in one of his videos. I think it's pretty fucking sad tbh how a genre that was so interesting and fun and ecclectic ended up in this dead end.

Almost everytime I read "Fantano" I stop reading whatever I was reading.
