nostalgia - fair enough. the word comes up frequently. but there is subtle disrespect shining through with these comments.
just because the media pushed linkin park into the mainstream, which made us as kids/teens listen to LP, doesn't mean it IS actually only appealing to this age group.
linkin park set new standards for a whole generation though. not least because of the next-gen production quality at that time. that is a huge factor when it comes to mainstream accessibilty.
let's give credit where credit is due.
