I don't really get the hype about this album. Frankly some songs are quite boring. There are some gems though.

Don't worry man, I'm with you here. Album doesn't suck completely because it's Tool, but I'll be damned if I can even listen all the way through this without getting bored.

What I think puts me off about this band is (I think Ill be crucified for this) They try so, so hard to be clever, but it just comes off as them looking down at me and going in an annoying voice: "Yeah look at us! We're Smart aren't we! Too smart for you and your small intellect!" (Don't even get me started on their music videos...)
Dont get me wrong, instrumentally, these guys rule, I just always have a dizzying relationship of love and hate each time I listen to it...
