Would You Rather is excellent. You Missed My Heart took some time but now it's a favorite of mine.

I’m liking Punisher a lot now and I feel like if I give this another listen I’ll probably like it more too

can't wait for the metalheads to start 2-bombing this because it's higher than ulcerate or whatever on the charts

I wasn't dissing You Missed My Heart, I just prefer most of the other songs on here, and Phoebe didn't even write it. I could see Punisher eclipsing this actually, it's subtler but a remarkably consistent, gorgeous album with great lyrics.

On the title track and it's my favorite of the 4 so far. My mind isn't changed about Kyoto or Garden Song; they're both a cut below most of her debut. We'll see though, it seems to be getting better!

Yeah Kyoto and Garden Song aren’t highlights imo. Best might be Chinese Satellite

Oh my god that last song is so fucking ridiculous in the best way. It might be my new favorite Bridgers song already.
Mixed feelings overall about this though, after one full spin. There were some moments when I was bored and just hoping the song would pass, but then there were also some really gorgeous and unexpected flourishes within those same songs so they'll probably grow on me as I learn the lyrics. Nowhere ready to rate Punisher, but my early favorites are Punisher, Chinese Satellite, Savior Complex, and I Know The End.

I probably will. I love Phoebe and I love atmospheric folk pop. Graceland Too I don't remember sounding country, but I've only listened one time so I'll revisit the album in the morning over coffee.

5'ing this. Sort of overdue considering how much I've loved this since it dropped and how influential it's been in getting me to check out this kind of music.

Love it, Sowing. Took me about 2 years after reviewing this to finally slap a 5 on it. The influence is undeniable for me as well. 2017 was the year I really fell in love with this kinda thing, so it will always hold a special place in my heart
