calling WR dynamically adventurous is a bold statement

Ghost Key, Stone to Wake a Serpent, Hand of the Host and Threshold are among their least linear songs, make great work shifting gears incrementally and avoid catering to obvious extremes nearly as much as these tracks

Dulcinea is amazing. The transition in mood and key roughly halfway in is gorgeous.

It’s funny that people diss this for sounding like Tool because it’s way better than any album Tool ever made 🙃

my facial hair is in a bad state atm but I have no access to a razor and it has never been easier to relate to this hirsute hippy tangle of an album lfg

Most misunderstood ISIS album.

Album is close to being a 5 but I can't bring myself to 5 it.
Just doesn't feel right, unlike Panopticon and Oceanic.

Yeah I never associated this album with Tool in any regard. This is just a very melodic and chill version of ISIS. Probably my favorite of theirs. I know the band themselves feel like it's their weakest and that's saying something considering how much strong stuff is on this.
