To make up for that, here's a thicc Toshiya interview separated into 4 parts for Uroboros: https://diezu.livejournal.com/?skip=10

oh god, i can't say this is looking good from my end. not liking the direction at all.
BUT, you can never judge a dir record without hearing the complete product.

I unironically think the new GazettE might end up being the better album

I liked that teaser more than the other two songs, but yeah, gotta wait for the whole song and how they all end up sounding on the album.

I have the feeling the site's gonna hate the new album, shame.
I really enjoyed the 60-second preview, disappointed that the drums are not fully fixed though.

“I unironically think the new GazettE might end up being the better album”
And that would be because DEG crashed and burned rather than the GazettE actually becoming better songwriters.
Anyway, I’m content if this album blows. IMO it was bound to happen eventually...

It's like people want the new album to fail this cycle round, yeesh.

I don’t want it to fail (otherwise I’d jump off the DEG train completely)...I’m just convinced more than ever with every subsequent new song/preview that it WILL fail...my standards of what I think DEG are capable of. I’m still gonna give it a chance. I have a glimmer of hope that they’ll surprise me in a very good way. The previews of ARCHE gave me mixed feelings but ultimately it became one of my top 3 DEG albums.

second single grew on me, Midwife is an underappreciated track, it has a low-key wicked groove and an unhinged atmosphere

"second single grew on me, Midwife is an underappreciated track, it has a low-key wicked groove and an unhinged atmosphere"
By "second single", do you mean Sustain the untruth? Or are you referring to the 2nd single off of the upcoming album? Cause I'd agree w/both regardless.
I sort of warmed up to what little of Ranunculus is out there at the moment...but again, it just feels so basic compared to one of the power ballads on ARCHE like Tousei or my favorite track on the album, Kukoku no kyouon.

Looks like Diru finally dropped the ball?
Ah well, it was a good run m/

Again, I'm not writing it off until I hear the complete album, but this song is devoid of everything they've built from the last ten years. It just sounds like a cold, generic J-rock song to me.

Every single I've heard so far has been so-so, was expecting at least one amazing single prior to release as that is normally what happens with Diru.
