Water is way better than Trying Year imo but they both are amazing, but yeah, the new album probably wont reach this

It's pretty decent, but it does fall a little flat

Kinda disappointing, but still excited to hear the entire thing

I'll take Bobby over Joe any day, so Trying Year > Water for me.

I liked parts of the new song, but yeah it was lackluster. Hoping that it's just a weaker track.

I think Trying Year is catchier and like has more feelings, but in certain way I like Water a bit more, but yeah, it still doesn't reach the heigths of More Tequilla Less Joe or Shoddy Workmanship. But maybe in the context of the album it'll be better.

After listening to them a lot, I like them both. I am so excited to hear The king of no man though... seeing as I thought that was bobby barnetts best track on his album. Hopefully it is gonna be as good as the acoustic. I hope the other tracks have more duets though... the two singles feel like individual songs.

i think its kind of dumb theyre using three songs that hes already recorded. i want to hear new shit. i know its gonna sound different with the full band but still. three tracks is a lot of re-imagined material for a new full length.

Yeah I am not thrilled about that either and would prefer all new songs, but I think the king of no man will at least translate well I presume. I am just happy to get any new stuff at this point.

I might give this another shot now that it's nice outside. I tend to receive this style better this time of year.

(can't even make out anything for the 4th line) something something... a saint.
