yeah something along those lines
perhaps it's for the best they disbanded after this one
god knows where experimentation would've taken them next

I think it was good they ended on a classic. Would have been scared on what they do next but definitely would have welcomed further experimentation

Checked again. Okay I‘ll admit this has some pretty cool ideas and I definitely unearthed a modicum of enjoyment out of it - still not seeing what’s so remarkable here, although I’m not exactly a post-BM fiend. Respectful bump.

They got better with each album, this is their masterpiece but Mammal it's up there too for me

I was weirded out with this at first too. All it takes is one of those first few tracks to click and then you're off to the races.
Burnt Year for me, as I've mentioned two or three hundred times in this thread.

Burnt Year was The One™ for me too, yeah. The urgency and that torment just got me

There's such an iconic moment in every track tbh. My favourite is gonna go for the climax of A Remedy and a Fever where all the synths, chants, guitars and drums just crash into disorientating dissonant pit and I fucking love it

I had a summer working in some greenhouses that I listened to this practically daily. The midsection of Reflection Pulse Remains is just... god damn. Probably was part of what led me to checking out some noise.

God YES. That whole song is such a build-up of tension.
