I see where you are coming from, SeaAnemone, but redundancy as a tool kind of implies that it changes the listening experience to some degree. I'm referring to redundancy as parts that stop contributing to affecting this experience, not as repetition in general.

In that case, I'd argue that this is devoid of redundancy.
The length is absolutely necessary (like pretty essential to the essence of this album), I think.
It's not amazing despite some of the tacks being strikingly long, it's amazing (partially) because it feels excruciatingly long at times.
