the only good thing this album is doing for me right now is that's it making me want to go back and listen to their actual good stuff tbh.

sort of, maybe.

wow this was shaping up to be a hard 2 or a very kind 2.5, but i could legitimately 1.5 it based on youngblood alone fucking hell.

Bouncing off the wall, youngblood, still breathing, and ordinary world kinda suck

I like everything else to some degree

most of this i'm pretty much not enjoying at all unfortunately, not that i didn't see it coming tho lol. i guess the opener is pretty okay and bang bang is decent, but none of the rest is sticking out at all. and those lyrics damn.

It really sucks that billie is trying his best here. This album isn't a cash grab like 21cb, or 3 albums of a drunk 40 year old, but yeah, bilie's not doing a great job here

agree. i mean he was never the best with words, but at least he had some character to it on their 90s albums. his lyrics have been consistently shit for a while now.

okay the somewhere now reprise in forever now sounds cheesy as fuck but it's minimally enjoyable, album is kind of all over the place and overpolished tho.

Album is super all over the place. There's no real consistent sound to the album at all

I think they all play really well, even if their music is a bit on the easy-to-play side

It's easy to play, but it's still incredibly fun. Jesus of Suburbia is an obvious standout.
