lol yah all of the big 4 shifted to a more mainstream style during the 90's and I think it's pretty shitty that only Metallica get bagged on for it.
Megadeth released Risk, which is straight up radio rock, far more than Load/Reload
Anthrax went groove metal with hints of grunge and even some nu-metal
Slayer, while staying the most faithful, still adapted nu-metal into their sound with DIM and GHUA
