Just listened to this record 3 times in a row. This was one of the hardest growers that I've ever encountered.

Heh, never noticed that. I see what you mean, it's like he can't decide between 16ths or triplets. At least the snare flam isn't off time. Either way, I think it has a raw albeit sloppy quality which adds suspense.
