Yeah I see where you're coming from. I don't dig all xmas music...but I'll always have an attachment to bing crosby and manheim steamroller cause I grew up on them. Recently acquired a taste for Trans-siberian orchestra as well tho.

Oh, yeah, I had Manheim's latest in there, too. I liked it, but not enough to buy it like I did with Charlie Brown and Piano Guys. They had a pretty bitchin version of Carol of the Bells.

The seasons don't really have any effect on how an album feels to me, but maybe that's because there's very little noticeable change in weather between the seasons where I live.

Yeah we've been averaging like 75 Fahrenheit this winter and just had rain a few days ago for the first time in months :P

I have just never really thought that certain genres music are better at certain times of the year. It just seems a little odd to me.

I won't say that I enjoy it more, but I've been listening Agalloch this week largely because I though it was fitting as I was driving around the frozen wasteland of my home state.

It's a little odd to me as well, I enjoy ColdWorld when it's 90 degrees outside just as much as I do when it's in the 40s (that's as cold as it gets here, dont laff)

It averages mid 70s in the summer, but it gets into the 90s occasionally.

You get to live in 40-90 degree weather all year round?

...

That sounds kind of glorious. Is there a downside?

I knew there would be a catch.

All that smog can't be good for the ol' lungs.

absolutely if you ask me. some albums are just naturally better in warmer weather, overcast, rainy, etc.
