Them being Italian might have something to do with it.
Italian is a Roman language which is totally different, hell I'm dutch speaking which is also Germanic
language (same as English) and even for me it's hard to write English. So I can easily imagine a
Italians having a harder time at writing English lyrics then English speaking persons.
Not sure (as with proper time invested anyone can write good lyrics) if that's a good argument. But
it's a extenuating circumstance for sure (if that'st a correct translation, haha).
