Indeed. I mean...this is my favorite Isis album and by extent, they're one of my top 5 favorite bands ever and this being one of my favorite albums ever but even with all that, I say with no hessitation that I think Garden of Light is their best song ever.

I can agree with it being one of their best songs. Absence has some really good moments in it and the overall idea is great, there's just something about that album that sounds different from the rest of the discography. The ending of Dulcinea, the second half of Holy Tears and how Firdous leads up to Garden of Light, the track itself is fucking mint but the whole thing is just.. wow



Doesn't stand a chance vs Oceanic or Panop tho, those 2 are fucking perfect.
