bwp is a better all around album than this to listen to, but heir apparent and the lotus eater just rip that album left and right when it comes to pwnage of the cd itself. that whole album is good, as the two songs i mentioned just a second ago are definately my highlights of this album. the album itself is still very good, just not as good as bwp

Recently listened to this again, Coil and The Lotus Eater are my personal favourites, its just a terrible shame that things like the end of Burden and most of Porcelain Heart drag the album down.

I have to say...the detuning of the acoustic riff in burden has really grown on me. I used to hate it and think it was pointless, but it's incredibly chilling. The laugh is still fucking stupid though.

For some reason I like the ending of Burden. When the song starts I think that the ending will ruin it but when you get to the end I think it somehow just works. This album has a few odd endings to songs, like the endings of The Lotus Eater and Heir Apparent. They're still amazing though and these odd endings add to the album in a way.
