Anders Friden, lyrical mastermind

Album Rating: 4.5
The best lyrics were pre-Clayman. They were pretty fucking brilliant, im pretty sure i read that Anders didnt write them though, or he only wrote some of them. He did write the Clayman lyrics which were pretty great.

I'd start with Colony and then move to Clayman or The Jester Race. Whoracle is my favorite but it took a lot of time to grow on me

Regarding lyrics on early material, Anders collaborated with Niklas Sundin from DT for English translations since he wasn't always confident in his skills.

Anybody ever jam their misc. stuff? Man Made God, Acoustic Medley, Goliaths Disarm Their Davids? All of those songs could have easily made their way onto records by replacing one of the less impressive songs (Goliaths for Everything Counts, Acoustic Medley at the end of this, could cut out Wayfaerer, Man Made God in place of The New Word).
