except that remission is by far their best album

@cosmic back when I liked mastodon I enjoyed remission, levitation and crack the Skye. Seen em live twice as well. One of my least fav live bands ever

@sitar I can’t comment on their shows now since I saw them years and years ago but back them they relied heavily on visual gimmicks to compensate for the mechanical, clinical reproductions of their music that involved about as much stage presence as one foot on an amp, a fart face, and a head swivel
