EP is great on first listen but obviously the last two full length are better

Agree with Mr Shart.
Solid but nothing groundbreaking and could have fit on this album. Maybe would appreciate these songs a little more if they were part of a longer LP. But, they are still good

I love this bands work but their straight post-rock songs just do not land very often and I don't mind their clean/soft songs. I mean Opalescent is a stupendous example but that first track off the ep is a total snoozer and waste in my opinion.

I definitely dig it. Love this band's softer side tbh and the heavier parts kick ass.

Gonna give it a few more spins but it didn't really grab me like their last few albums did. Still glad for new material though and hope more is on the way...

I mean, its only a 15 minute EP. Its really good for what it is imo. Nice mix of atmosphere and heavier bits. Nowhere near their best, but it seems like a quick fix until the new LP comes out.

Jr you'll love this band. Shocked that you've never jammed them tbh. Whole discog is fantastic.

seeing these guys live completely changed my mind on them, i legit cried. regarding this particular album there's a bit too many songs that don't quite grab me but the highs are fucking high. prescience goes on another level

Rolo Tomassi gonna have to help fill the Svalbard-shaped hole in my music taste these next few years, but yeah their entire discog is great.

I really want to see them live sometime.

for what it's worth they aren't always going to have a string quartet accompanying them but that's how i saw them and it was otherworldly
