no shame in listening to an album just to be able to talk about the thing everyone's talking about, I myself do so semi regularly. But it's important to be forthright about these things lest people get their boxers all atwist over an opinion only formed out of a sense of obligation

my expectations were mixed but slightly positive and tbh there's a lot of tracks here that i quite like and am still chewing over, but thanks to a shaky combo of bloat and duds, this as a whole sits a level below the sum of its parts for me atmwill probably bump and settle on a 3 once i've given it another once over, but imma have to thank this treat of a thread for getting me to stick with it this long, would probs have been a jam-n-dump otherwise

honestly agree this would prob be a stronger album experience if they trimmed it down to maybe 12ish tracks, although I don't think that there are any outright duds here

Most music has such predictable structure or rehashed tropes I sometimes legitimately feel pain from the boredom (post-hardcore actually gives me headaches). I fucking hate that people legitimately compare via user ratings stuff like Godspeed You to classic bands like Metallica and Queen. Literally progressive-(random noises) with "aTmOsPhEre" and "hEaRt."

It's true though, the site can't fully take off as long as harassers like johnny are treated like the norm because a society of intolerance destroys itself/can't grow. It's literally why moderation exists, people don't want to be part of communities that are ruled by the intolerant, so an axiom of moral philosophy should be intolerance of the intolerant. I don't shame psychopaths, I only shame psychopaths who are actively trying to harm others.
