the solos on honeycomb are the best they've ever done by a mile.

it’s for sure the worst song here but it’s a nice opener, flows into honeycomb really well, good mood setter etc

it's one of my top ones here honestly. you don't hear instrumentals like that contrast from vocals like those on that song regularly, i think they knocked out out of the park. you without end, canary yellow and glint are my biggest "to cry to" tracks here

Magnolia was a ruse, the rest of the album is lounge music

only problem with Glint is the section at 7:27 when it sounds like it's supposed to be a scream-along but the guitar melody is low in the mix when it should be crying in tandem with the vox.

“Eyes as a morning rosewater”, how beautiful is that? No, I don’t have any complaints about Glint, in fact I find it fantastic.

Most consider this to be their weakest album for some reason.

I’d say Infinite Granite. Shellstar is incredible though, and one of their best songs. That’s an example of the style they attempted on this album gone right.
Too many of the songs on IG just fall flat for me though. Some even a little cringe-y tbh. Still a 3.5 for me though.
