rather than have a vague hippie call-to-arms like most, RTJ actually go into some specific issues here
that's... a flaw?

I'd be happy if they addressed issues more directly; they only really do somewhat well in 2100. Otherwise, I'd say the political commentary here is 'vague hippy call-to-arms' imo. Agree to disagree

We're all opressed slaves but eat up lyrics that outline the philosophical underpinnings of the reality like its candy but as soon as an artist starts drawing specifics a lot of people really seem to take issue with it. Failing to interpret specifics as a symbological form of a broader idea is just too hard when you can simply lose yourself in the great game of ideological division.

The capacity of human intelligence seems to limit the capabilities to expand upon any possible creative aptitudes. Indeed, if one cannot even notice the facets that the ingenuities around him are comprised of, how can he be expected to fashion a beast of his own? This inveterate sense of constraint is a great blow to the veracity of mankindโs abilities. It restrains us and holds our minds to the ground below, averting any possibility of rising above ourselves to something greater; something not fathomed by the conventional mind. This concept of seeking to go beyond oneโs self, known as โtranscendenceโ, is essentially a gateway to unlocking pieces of ourselves that can lead to some of the most elaborate and significant creations of our world. For many, this quest to transcend and form creations that were once considered unthinkable and overwhelming consumes life. Certainly it is rare to find such people, but when they are found, creative barriers are destroyed.

I don't know what keyblade is talking about. considering i've routinely championed artists like Busdriver, Shabazz Palaces, Quelle Chris, Open Mike Eagle, Injury Reserve, Danny Brown, clipping....
Hardly boring, basic, run-of-the-mill.
You may not like it, but basic?
