"V is fun and goofy"
IV is a lot more goofier than this wtf

Probably referring to Mr. Usher?

some people would call Haves Have Naught goofy because it's very Disney

Act IV: (really digging the latter tracks on the album tbh, they are underrated imo)
S: Bitter Suite: Sermon in the Silt, If All Goes Well, The Line, Ouroboros, Night on the Town, Is There Anybody Here, Wait
A: The Old Haunt, Waves
B: At the End of the Earth, The Squeaky Wheel, Bitter Suite: Abandon (this songs too beautiful goddamn), King of Swords
C: Remembered
Act V: (both are pretty much neck and neck for me, Act IV is a bit more lively than V overall imo, so that's why I gravitate a bit more to IV I think)
S: Most Cursed of Hands/Who Am I, Gloria, The Flame (Is Gone) (this song is absurdly good), The Fire, The March, Blood, A Beginning
A: Moon/Awake, Cascade, The Revival, Light (I cryyy ugh)
B: Melpomene, Mr. Usher (this song is so Sinatra and I love it)
C: Haves Have Naught

"some people would call Haves Have Naught goofy because it's very Disney"
even so IV has Squeaky Wheel, King of Swords and If All Goes Well, the latter two are way goofier than Mr. Usher and Have Naught imo

I'm not that huge of a fan of those vocals on Have Naught, dunno what it is, it's the only track I'd skip on the album, I also skip Squeaky Wheel and King of Swords sometimes, they are rather goofy indeed, I think IV is just more lively than V, so I naturally gravitate to IV more

but the avgs should be swapped around tbh, IV should by 4.3, this should 4.1 and/or 4.2

initially Haves Have Naught was one of 2 songs on the album (other is Mr. Usher) that I'd skip when listening to it but eventually it grew on me a lot and actually became one of my fav songs in there

Haves Have Naught is getting too much shade, but I'm a sucker for the bridge where the two vocalists trade lines so well. Gives me TREOS flashbacks. Gosh I miss that band.

Sounds like it should be in a Disney film
Still good tho

"initially Haves Have Naught was one of 2 songs on the album (other is Mr. Usher) that I'd skip"

Album Rating: 4.5
nah, it's average. It's actually stopping me from making this a 5 and I'd probably even give it just a 4 if it wasn't for how strong first half is
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
wow I just realized the average for this is a 4.3
that's accurate but I'm always surprised when Sput keeps an album above a 4.1

Or Color Spectrum ;-)
Holy fuck, I actually agree with sowing for once. This isn't anywhere near as good as those three, for sure. Bit bloated and padded out.
