This is just...so boring. I get it...experimental and stuff. It's REALLY not. Not at all.
He died. That's tragic and sad, but...FUCK OFF!

It's his best album to me, but I literally grew up on 70s Bowie, and I suppose that I could have over listened to it all over the years.

Also, this is top 3 Bowie.

This album was in the 4.5-5 realm before he died and it's in the 4.5-5 realm after he died

the t/t is special, not sure the rest of the record (understandably) lives up to it.

Bowie didn't know he was black when dying.

I love the overall originality of this, haven't heard anything like this, ever. After Blackstar as a single I expected whole album of songs like that, I didn't get it, but I still love everything about it. Drumming is phenomenal. Especially those last two tracks get me every time.

The whole thing is great but that opener is phenomenal, it's all relative. I don't think it's entirely a coincidence that I'm now listening to Station to Station, reminiscent of this in the way each release is structured. Both happen to start with a long t/t that's arguably the highlight of the album as well.

The opener is incredible no doubt, but the album just gets better and better.

The video is still one of my favourites, so many little easter eggs in there hinting at his death :[
