Don't sleep on Forgotten! I didn't listen to any of this kind of music back then. I started hearing this album making rounds and I thought the lyrics were interesting. Better than Durst singing about his nookie or how Limp Bizkit was here to tell you things you already knew heh so I had owned this album here a couple times.

I find myself preferring a lot of the deep cuts on this, although maybe it's simply because I've heard the hits so often. With You, By Myself, and A Place for My Head are all absolute bangers

Forgotten is the true deep cut gem of this album

Haven't jammed this in quite awhile but I wouldn't be surprised if I can still sing along word for word front to back tbh. Jammed the shit out of this when it came out.
Gonna throw on now. Been in nostalgia mode today anyways

At the end of With You right now and most definitely still know every word lol it's weird how most of the stuff from my childhood is just permanently embedded in my brain but I sometimes struggle to recall actual important shit from last week ha

When I was young Points of Authority and Cure for the Itch we're definitely my favorites here. Points of Authority is wrapping up now and I can confirm it's still pretty dope. Think Papercut holds up the best though so far tbh.

points and papercut [2]

Papercut is dope. It's a powerful intro track. It really gets ya hyped for what's next. Runaway was an early favorite of mine. I still like One Step Closer. I think it's incredibly catchy but I tend to go for the album tracks.

Thoroughly enjoyed revisiting this and had to give it a rating bump. Decided to jam Reanimation since I dug this so much and I was honestly surprised how much I enjoyed it too. A little too long but it was fun. Always considered buying it back in the day but I'd end up grabbing something else last minute every time. Kinda wish I would have bought it back then though, think I probably would have played it to death back then.
Guess I'm going to give Meteora a shot now while I'm on this kick. I could never get into that one even back then and I could never really place why that was tbh

Time to ride that Linkin Pork m/

Meteora had some super fire songs. I mean everyone knows Feint! It's still good I think. When Reanimation came out I just wasn't ready for a remix album so soon so I dismissed that outright. Probs was neat tho. I never bought any albums after Hybrid Theory but I followed them and heard a lot of their songs until like 2010.

Meteora isnt that great, its like i want it to be but it feels like most of the album is dedicted and tries too hard. I feel like the fans who love that album are the type of people who watch the fast and the furious on their phones
