I kinda agree. This is one of their weaker efforts, even though some songs are amazing. The opener just isn't good. Some songs drang and/or are boring. The highlights fucking rule though

Not with Shallow, Halo, and Open Car. They have 3-4 records more consistently fantastic. This is still amazing though, the longer songs are stunning and among their best.

ngl the first four songs on here are some of the worst this band has ever written. And Open Car sucks imo.
I do like Arriving and Mellotron scratch but that's about it.
