I adore the original Final Fantasy VII and honestly would have been better off investing all the time into a playthrough of that
other games I've completed playthroughs of this year: Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy I remake for Playstation 1, Manhunt, Metro 2033, Heavy Rain, Death Stranding, Call of Duty WWII, the Terran campaign on original StarCraft with the cute cartoon graphics skin... also did on 100% Metal Gear Solid V so my OCD would allow me to put it down and let it go
some games I dropped were Xenosaga Episode I (yuck), Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core (was playing on hard mode and just said fuck it at the very end), Close Combat III Russian Front (which was actually a really good old school WWII RTS I just uninstalled it before completing the entire campaign(s)).... also had been playing Subnautica, Paper Mario, DayZ, Rainbow Six Siege, Crysis, PUBG... oh yeah just remembered I started a playthrough of the Final Fantasy II remake on Playstation but then FFVIIRemake came out and I put it down
that's pretty much my year right there

Papers please is so good! Personally found death stranding to be borderline unplayable. Can safely say After 30 hours that is the worst game I've played in a long time.
Ever play disco elysium? Highly recommend.

lol, yeah so I started Death Stranding end of last year and finished beginning of this year and then put it down once I finished the story, and reflecting back on it now, I fucking miss it man... it certainly had plenty of stressful moments but there was so much comfy zen time
good game to play alongside your own jams as well.... hmmm I could play Death Stranding and listen to Tomorrow's Harvest

Disco Elysium - never heard of it I don't think but I looked it up it looks interesting... sounds like a cross between an RPG like OG Fallout and point-and-click adventure/puzzle games or something like that
