I think it was merely an observation of your devotion to hating on an album, this is obviously important to you, but I hope your life improves so that you don't feel the need to continue having to come back to the same conversation and contribute nothing worth any value except making yourself come off as a jackass

To actually be serious though: A 4 can be a good album, WWF, I think you're putting too much definition and thought into what is a rating.

Yeah it's so dead brah let's make sure any few people who come here think the album sucks I'm so interested in talking about something I don't enjoy I'm going to remain on this dead thread and engage in such interesting philosophy like is Paramore good nah they aren't why you gotta hate on me wanting to mainstay my hate bra

Proof and Still Into You are great, the rest not so much :-( That post-rocky outro is great, too.

this band is so special, idk why but i think no other band has the sound this band does, at least that's true for their second and third albums. they're easier to get into if ur in high school lol

butthurt over their changing to a drastically inferior sound at which they aren't even skilled songwriters--relatively speaking.

The thing is, with all the experimentation Paramore attempted here, some moments really shine and others just fall flat on their face.
That being said, Part II is fucking fantastic, and easily one of Paramore's best tracks.

Pretty sure that part II IS their best track

I honestly feel like I was just riding the hate train when this was released. After seeing them perform some of the songs this live and just recently giving this another chance, this really isn't all that bad. There are still some average songs for sure and the album as a whole still feels inconsistent, but when it does work, it feels like the band went into this genuinely wanting to progress their sound instead of half assing it like another pop punk band that they toured with.

"Last Hope" and "Part II" hint at some sound i'd love to hear from them, but i'm sure this band had no idea where they were going with this -- songs like "grow up", "ain't it fun", "now", "still into you", "fast in my car", et al, they all share some common elements but are way so disperse and spread-out that they don't make sense, and i feel that if they're going to go for the sound of the later, they have a lot of work to do
