Though I'll say I've came close but I've never cried to a song. Nothing on here really gives me those kinda feels. It's just badass music most of the time haha

Life made me smile on the first listen. No joke. No other song has ever made me do that lol.

Life and the Death of Music being on the same album is just like the entire spectrum of human emotion in one go

"Devin Townsend's solo material is just Strapping Young Lad without the balls—and without anything that makes it fun and interesting. Just relatively dull and safe pop-metal aesthetics and structures. That's not to say there aren't bad songs; there just aren't any great ones. Not even close. (Well, maybe "Not One of My Better Days".)

And for heck's sake, have some sense of quality control. Just because a CD is 74 minutes long, that doesn't mean you need to fill the whole thing."

Thought this was worth a lol or 2

This album is a triumph of the human condition or some equally corny statement. Basically, it's fucking great.

The Death of Music stands as one of my favorite Devy songs ever.

I...I don't even know how to react to this.

And Funeral, also. Funeral - Bastard - Death of Music are my favorite three tracks by Devin and they are all in a row.

Thing Beyond Things is not nearly as good as Death Of Music but it's an even better closer imo
