Pretty good album. Wore off me hard but still at least a 3.5.

Just started listening to Defeater. The folky bright eyes ish acoustic songs are actually what convinced me to try it out. I really liked this whole album, their back catalogue was great as well.

god his voice sounded like shit on this

Not at all, it's a little more worn down but tbh I think it fits

His voice was fine on this, it was the production and songwriting that weren't up to par. I like the album but as a whole just wasn't even close to the first two.
