This entire album makes me nauseous tbh. It all feels so unbelievably artificial and boring, and Shadows' vocals aren't improved at all from the weak City of Evil vocals he performed. I used to like a few songs on here, but now the entire thing just feels either uninspired or downright awful when it comes to songwriting and lyrics. The instrumental performances are good, sure, but I fail to see the point in that when the songwriting just bogs it down so much

Just Listened to this again. Afterlife and Almost Easy are by far the most bland on this album but Gunslinger, Critical Acclaim and A Little Piece of Heaven are damn solid songs.
