Finland has many great, even legendary DM bands, but they didn't put as many good albums as NY bands. Not even close. Many of Finnish bands literally put just one good album and then disappeared or went to shit. Compare this with Immolation, Suffocation and Incantation... Even Immolation alone has probably more "classic" albums than whole Finnish scene, with all due respect for Finnish DM.

Florida having Death, Morbid Angel, Brutality, Monstrosity, Cynic, Atheist, CC, Deicide (although I'm not a huge fan) is easily top 3 IMO

I enjoyed this more than I remember doing for quite some time, which has inspired me to re-do the Immo disocg in the run-up to their new one dropping. I have a few gaps (most notably Failure for Gods)
I love how evil this sounds. They really nailed that aspect of DM better than most.

Gonna try to take my kid to see these guys. Anyone know if the headliner is rotating on the tour? Poster shows Behemoth as top-billing, but tour is called Godless IV with 3 other bands: Decide, Rotting Christ, Immolation- in that order. I can't imagine Immo opening.
