ok wow wow wow. new song is awesome. that riff. that lead in the chorus. chorus is incredible as well. sounds like futures to me. fucking stoked.

i like it quite a lot. i loved the song already when he played it live acoustic. problem is i imagined how it would sound really rocked up (cause it was always obvious it would be a rockin song) and was excited because the way he yells that chorus is so impassioned and awesome in the acoustic version. so on first listen i was totally bummed that it didnt sound how i thought it would sound. i felt like his vocals were a bit too drowned out by the instrumentation in the chorus and the strength of that chorus is in how he sings it so powerfully. but on subsequent listens and in better quality than the radio stream ive started to really like it now im getting used to it. the more full production gives me a lot of hope for the album that its gonna sound "big" like all of the futures-era jimmy songs did. and now im starting to focus less on the fact that his vocals are a little drowned and more on the fact that, well, its still a fucking good chorus even regardless. i want jimmy to soar again. they havent really soared that much since futures. im hopeful. also this isnt the same song that was in the clip on the site so we know theres at least one other riffy heavy song.
