These songs are extremely well written and structured. They're mature. There is a perfect balance between subtlety and anger with really thoroughly devised pacing. The build up to cathartic moments are the band's best. There's a lot of groove. The lyrics feel really personal. Corey's emotions are very vividly portrayed. I think Slipknot from this matured perspective is outstanding.
