These guys aren't really OSDM at all, though.

hummmm....its time for us to acknowledge there's something new happening in this last decade...the notion of OSDM doesn't make these bands justice imo

It’s alright, true ODSM is boring anyway... just jam Leprosy/Consuming Impulse and call it a day (joke... maybe).

So... the new album will only have four tracks, which means they'll be at least 8-9 mins long?

Four tracks? Right, let's have a look...

1. Slave Species of the Gods

2. The Giza Power Plant

3. Inner Paths (to Outer Space)

4. Awakening From the Dream of Existence to the Multidimensional Nature of Our Reality (Mirror of the Soul)

OK, well I've decided that the last track is going to be monstrous, partly to fit the absurdly long title, but also to be in complete contrast to Starspawn where we got the big boy first, perhaps controversially. I'm guessing at a 18:27 run-time, anyone going lower/higher? The other three tracks will all be of 'modest' length, maybe one 7-ish, one 5-6 and one 3-4. Complete speculation of course.

Hope it's an ode to The Planet that Once Used to Absorb Flesh in Order to Achieve Divinity and Immortality (Suffocated to the Flesh that it Desired...)

Nah, I expect it's a reference to "And Lo, When the Imperium Marches Against Gul-Kothoth, Then Dark Sorceries Shall Enshroud the Citadel of the Obsidian Crown (Episode: VIII)".

Nonsense, it clearly takes after "Papyrus Containing the Spell to Preserve Its Possessor Against Attacks From He Who Is in the Water"

Nah. It's clearly an ode to this one...

Blasphemous Monk of Soil Regurgitating Putrid Fetal Remains Upon His Lord thus Incinerating the Vile Incarcerated Vagabond Stationed Within His Corrupted Mind.

Disappointed in everyone here for not yet mentioning 'Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict' tbh
