Pinkerton is one of those albums where I can totally understand someone hating it. I can see it being hard to relate to those lyrics. I love it though, along with this album.

It's a tad better than merely 'a nice rock album'. There's more personality to it, mostly due to Rivers' idiosyncrasies. That's what pushes it to a 4 for me.
'King of the World' is an incredibly solid pop rock guitar jam in a field where the bottom of the barrel had already been scraped into oblivion.
