i get preferring obscura cus it is a bit wilder and more experimental whereas this is sorta like that whole style retuned to fit into a more standard dm template
but this one riffs so hard i like it more

this album is probably tighter than obscura. obscura has a few too many songs, but the peaks are higher than this imo. this one is alot more concise but no song on here is better than "earthly love" or "nostalgia"
