"that seems super broad and not true. not every band changes their sounds completely all the time. I don't think it's unreasonable to say "hey I like an album by this band, maybe their other albums kinda sound like that""
Not saying it's unreasonable it say that, I'm just saying that you shouldn't go into an album wanting something from other efforts because you just go "This is not what I want, so this is disappointing" rather appreciating it for what it is.
