I mean parts of this album are relaxing, but in a force-fed-valium-by-a-faceless-android-in-a-biodome-on-Europa kinda way. Not exactly chill in the conventional sense

Campfire and Beautiful Place are straight chill at times though

i’d argue “in a beautiful place out in the country” is their chillest track

In context with the music video, I agree. The monkey people on bikes is a very unsettling

Geogaddi is the creepy one

This one is dreamy and nostalgic

“geogaddi” is the more outright creepy one but this one has creepiness as a strong undertone throughout i think at least in the first half of the album

That subtle, eerie choir in Happy Cycling makes my skin crawl

Geogaddi is an entirely different beast. That album is pure evil veiled by a glimmer of hope and nostalgia.

This isn't really chill at all, besides some of the shorter tracks, until like track 7 or 8, then the rest of the album is mostly chill aside from Pete Standing Alone. Happy Cycling is wonderful but technically a bonus track I believe.

Geogaddi is called evil a lot, and it sounds that way at times, but mostly I'd say it's mainly mysterious and weird, even otherworldly/alien at times. Hi Scores isn't so chill, aside from a couple tracks. Agreed that Beautiful Place and Campfire are though.

Tomorrow's Harvest is a weird one cause it's the most ambient, but probably more hopeless and bleak than any of their others so it's chill, but in like a peaceful, acceptance of the apocalypse kind of way.

I see both this and Geogaddi as representations of different kinds of dreams

This one goes into the more ethereal style, while Geogaddi is that weird, unsettling yet intriguing kind of dream

I like reading your guys' interpretations of their albums. Truly is a different experience for everyone... That's the magic of BoC. Also, agreed Happy Cycling should have been on the record. They never cease to hypnotize me with their weird, yet catchy sampling.

For me their chillest track is definitely Kid For Today
