Signify would be my favorite, but it isn't perfect from beginning to end imo. Has some of their best songs and it's probably my favorite style of theirs. My favs are IA, TSMS, and SD.

I've been spoiled from live shows too much to listen to most of this album anymore. I can't go back for instance to the version of Open Car they have here, the additions and extra heaviness of the live incarnations of the song makes the studio version sound so pedestrian in comparison.
Not a big fan of Shallow either, it always felt like an open bid for radio play to me. The band only played the song live once and got forever shelved afterwards in favor of In Absentia's The Sound of Muzak.
Halo's nice, I really dig the bass line for this one. Again, this one's hard to go back to in its studio version since live versions of it leave in buried deep in the ground. The new intro they made for it gets me every time.
Not my favorite modern Porcupine Tree album (that honor is bestowed to Fear of a Blank Planet) but it's still really good stuff. Arriving Somewhere But Not Here is one of PT's best songs.

Have you heard the renditions by Gavin Harisson's jazz band? Halo shines on that one.

Not yet, I haven't listened to his album yet for some random unknown reason. I should probably do that.
