Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks the sudden transition from soft to heavy in "To Live Is To Die" rules

Well it is a little jarring but the badass riff makes up for it. Listening to this again recently, this may very well be better than ride the lightning

Oh shit just looked up, are they not remastering this? Presumed they'd prioritise this over KEA and RTL

Damn why Metallica gotta take so long to do everything?

RtL really didn't need a remaster at all, they should definitely have done this first

This album having no bass has never bothered me at all tbh.

No, it has never directly bothered me, I'm just interested to see how the bass would make it sound, and it's no secret to them that so many people want to hear a bassy version so they should have done it first.

I really like how mechanical and cold this album sounds tbh, adds to the heaviness and bleakness of the lyrics
