21st century really wasn't American idiot part 2 though with everything that went on during it's time it was more like fanfare over a music album. I'm looking for something like American Idiot that makes a clear significant direct impact.

at this point i just want them to make an album that has something to say. if they put out something that feels inspired, thats enough for me. i really dug bang bang because it has more life in it than before, but i hope lyrically the rest of the album is stronger, and not trying to be political for the sake of it. hopefully itll have something to say and isnt just a news headline with a bunch of hooks
