I mean, Gish prob has Chamberlin's best drumming, but overall this is the better album. The overall power of the songs put together in such a cohesive manner make this SP's magnum opus, and an alt-rock classic.

Nah man, MC&tIS is awesome and all, but imo the 4th quarter is a bit underwhelming when compared to the rest of the album. Gish is much more consistent imo. Also Gish is miles better than Adore if you ask me.



Adore would prob rank as 5th best SP for me.

Their first 3 are all 5's, Pisces and Oceania are 4.5's, Adore and Aeroplane are 4's, Machina is a 3.5, Machina II is a 2.5 and Zeitgeist is a 2

Machina II is a hard 1.5 to me, I just can't get into it, wayyy too bland.



Need to jam MC&tIS to see if the 4th quarter grows on me, and I think I prefer Machina I to Adore, but other than that, I can live with YoYo's ratings.

Still can't stand either Machina... not even a little. Well "Everlasting Gaze" and "Age of Reason" are passable.

Machina I has some great parts imo, I also feel it's closer to the SP sound than Adore (opinion ofc). The one weakness it has is that about 3 tracks or so near the middle are pretty weak/skippable. But Machina II is a real trainwreck imo. Doesn't help that it's a double album, so after I was in through the first few songs, I didn't bother with the rest, as I didn't want to waste time.



I think I should give Zeitgeist another chance though, maybe I might like some of it.
