Played the chill tracks on this while my students wrote their exit tickets, def a good vibe. The croak on “soul part four” maybe a bit odd; the somewhat dissonant soprano melody on “midnight” perhaps a bit odd. Banger!

Every couple years I remember this exists and it makes my day all over again. It is the most 1996-album ever made. For some reason it also feels like a “fall” album to me. Building Steam makes me think of The Exorcist lol
