Well I liked them trying something new, I think they used the piano to good effect and the chorus is rather touching, call me gay or whatever. The guitars were much better in New Divide though and I acknowledge that the guitars are one of the most important parts of LPs music so I see your point

That's the reason why I can't wait for The Hunting Party.

Hunting Party is looking to be so inconsistent, on one hand we have Rebellion (and according to those who've heard it "A Line In the Sand" is supposedly one of their best) and Guilty All The Same which are great songs. And On the other hand we have Wastelands and now Final Masquerade which are pretty fucking poor.

Final Masquerade is actually pretty good, but the lyrics are kinda cliched.

Wastelands is a grower, but it's definitely not their best.

A New Divide is one of their most tight performances, the guitar line is also probably their catchiest.

This seems a little random but I really find this be fucking hilarious.

Everyone putting Living Things, Minutes to Midnight, and A Thousand Suns in your Top 3 LP albums of all time are kidding yourselves. True Linkin Park fans know that their best albums are Hybrid Theory and Meteora. They began sucking with Minutes to Midnight. We can only hope "The Hunting Season" (which some idiots have put on their list when it's not even been released yet) can take it back to their earlier days.

This is from a Youtube comment (not surprising) and it has 36 votes. Honestly, I would punch this guy in the fucking face. XD

Um, I'm certain the intro to New Divide is a sampler.

I always hate it when people want a band to go back to "the good old days" because apparently over the course of their life they haven't matured and wanted to try new things so they expect all their favorite artists to remain static.

What has the worst fanbase? Linkin Park, Justin Beiber, or Twilight?

(I would mention One Direction but that's the same as Justin Beiber fans)

@fallenbird

What about Muse... are we allowed to want them to go back to the "good old days"? Or shall they continue making 2nd Laws.

Leave Out all the Rest is literally the most annoying LP song ever made.

Robot Boy is probably their worst song, or at least one of them.
