I didn't mean contrived in a micro sense but in a macro sense, calculated in the big picture way. Don't get me wrong when they're playing it feels instinctive but something just rubs me up wrong about the album as a whole.

To be honest I fucking adore Aim & Ignite but if fun. broke up and The Format reform(at)ed I wouldn't give a fuck, in fact I'd probably be ecstatic. That band was something else.

More on topic, I just submitted my staff top 25 list. I don't think it is any mystery that this album is my #1 for the year. But how many others voted for it? Hmmmmmm.

Atavan not liking fun. made me sad. Listening to Aim and Ignite didn't help that much but at least I'm not as sad (as I used to be).
