Saw him and this fucking amazing canadien lady a couple weeks ago in KC. He was good, but srsly got a little upstaged by the opener, who I for some reason haven't bothered to look up. The reworked version of sometimes the blues just a passing bird was the highlight imo.

I'm taller than The Tallest Man On Earth. What does that make me?

In all seriousness though, superb album.

Pretty sure most people are taller than him. Dude's super short, and it's very obvious when you see him on a big stage, haha

Album is perfect to listen to on a cold, late December afternoon by a fire. Damn, I want the autumn and winter to come quick, fuck summer.

AH, BUT HELL I'M JUST A BLIND MAN ON THE PLAINS,

I DRINK MY WATER WHEN IT RAINS,

AND LIVE BY CHANCE AMONG THE LIGHTNING STRIKES

Somehow just now discovering this, and holy fuck was I missing out. This is incredible.

On a side note, all I can picture is this being Charlie Day singing. No idea why, it just reminds me so much of his voice hahaha

Goddamn I wish I could get into this. I kinda feel bad lol like the guitar work is nice and his lyrics are fantastic but his voice is really really bad.

NO, WE HAVE NEVER GROWN A DAY FROM THE POISON WE SHARED

AND WE'RE WALKING OUR CROOKED PATH HOME,

BUT WILL WE EVER CONFESS WHAT WE'VE DONE?

YES WE'RE STILL KIDS ON THE RUNNNN
