they disbanded for a reason, they "said all that they wanted to say with their music" or something like that..

My family and friends do it every time I mention this band, and it's getting really annoying. I basically can't get anyone I know into them because of it, though it's most unfortunate for the band themselves. I still remember hearing how they received death threats and were forced to clarify their status as a band in their facebook name. I mean that really sucks....

It should be known that the terrorist group was ISIL first too and there name changed for some reason so fuck everything. At least my friends aren't idiots who don't shudder whenever they see this playing in my car cause I educated them haha. ISIS is just to stylize the band name too and its still the actual name.

The climax at the end of Hand Of The Host where the harsh vox came in never fails to sound chilling. They really knew timing with that fucking jam.

I know I've really grown to appreciate that song over time. One of my favorites now. If anything Ghost Key has grown off me the most actually.

The end last half of 20 Minutes/40 Years is one of Isis' most unmatched moments. Leaves me floored everytime.
